This image was featured in Tasmania's online journal of arts and culture, Leatherwood Online in a tribute profile and portfolio of photographer Don Stephens who worked for the Hobart newspaper The Mercury for more than thirty years. A dozen or more of his images of the 1967 bushfires are held in the National Library of Australia's collections.
